Dr. Reed A. Kress, Chiropractic Physician
Dr. Reed Kress' hometown is Jasper, Indiana, where he participated in football, wrestling
and track. His pursuit of the chiropractic profession and love of the Boilermakers took him to
Purdue University where he majored in human biology. After four years at Purdue, Kress
completed 3 1/2 years of training at Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO. While in
chiropractic school, his focus was on the sports, nutritional, and rehabilitative approaches of
chiropractic. This focus enables him to evaluate and treat each patient through individualized
movements employed in day-to-day activities. His goal is to provide tailor-made treatment plans
while incorporating health education to quickly and naturally restore each patient's health.
Kress has been practicing chiropractic in Downtown Evansville for the for more than 10 years.
He and his wife, Beth, live in McCutchanville.
Dr. Josh Seiler, Chiropractic Physician
Dr. Josh Seiler is from Boonville, Indiana. He played collegiate baseball at Vincennes
University and Oakland City University. He received his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology
from Oakland City University in 2005, and graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic
in Dec. 2008 where he also received a Master's in Sports Rehabilitation.
He has a Full Body certification as an ART provider.
Josh and his wife Laura live in Haubstadt with their sons Wyatt and Beau.
Dr. Wes Rockers, Chiropractic Physician
Dr. Wes Rockers was raised near Garnett, KS on a small family farm where he participated in football, basketball, wrestling,
and cross-country throughout his school years. He has always been interested in the healthcare field, and served as a medic in the Kansas Army National Guard for ten years.
Dr. Rockers has an Associate of Science from Fort Scott Community College, Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology from Labette Community College,
Certificate of Radiation Therapy Technology from The University of Kansas Medical Center,
and Bachelors of Science in Human Biology as well as his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Cleveland Chiropractic,
in KC, MO. While there his emphasis was in learning structural correction of the spine, and he was certified in Chiropractic Biophysics,
learning if the bodyís structure isn't ideal, it does not function ideally. He is also certified in Graston, an instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization technique,
which is how he treats many soft tissue problems of the body such as tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, frozen shoulder, jumpers knee, rotator cuff syndrome and many others.
He currently lives in Evansville with his wife Renee, son Colton, and daughter Brooke. He is proud to give back to the community through the West Side Nut Club and Lessing Lodge #464.
Dr. Eric Marsili, Chiropractic Physician
Dr. Marsili is originally from Evanston, Indiana. He received his Bachelor of Science in
Dietetics from the University of Cincinnati in 2005, and graduated from Logan Chiropractic
College in 2009. Upon graduation, he received the Division of Research Award of Excellence and
was named to Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Dr. Marsili has
been in practice in Cincinnati, OH for the past three years. He is pleased and excited to
return to Indiana to be close to his family.
Dr. Marcel Garcia, Chiropractic Physician
Dr. Marcel Garcia is originally from Evansville, where he participated in soccer, wrestling, and track at Memorial High School.
He received his Bachelorís degree in Neurobiology from Purdue University and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College in
St. Louis, Missouri as well as a Masterís Degree in Sports Rehabilitation.
While studying at Logan College, Dr. Garcia worked with St. Louis area athletes in the Biofreeze Rehabilitation Clinic.
He was also selected to treat patients in the Dominican Republic as part of a mission trip.
He later shadowed both Dr. Reed Kress and Dr. Ross Hartings at Active Chiropractic as a student.
Dr. Garcia is a certified Active Release Technique (ART) provider and uses a combined treatment approach of ART and chiropractic to provide optimal health care.
He enjoys all sports and hopes to give back to the Evansville community. Dr. Garcia and his wife Kara live in Evansville with their rescued puppy Luna.
Dr. Cody Schmitt, Chiropractic Physician
Dr. Schmitt was raised in Dale and Santa Claus, Indiana. He graduated from Heritage Hills and participated in football and baseball,
and played baseball at Olney Central College. After baseball he attended University of Southern Indiana where he focused on human biology and life sciences.
He obtained his Bachelors in life science in 2014 from Logan College of Chiropractic and later earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Logan in April of 2017.
During his 3 Ĺ years of studying and training his focus was placed on functional movement patterns, nutrition,
and evidence based treatment protocols involving A.R.T., chiropractic adjustments, physical therapy, and lifestyle modifications.
Dr. Schmitt has taken over Dr. Ross Hartings practice as of July 2017 after spending 7 months shadowing and learning
and is excited to continue seamless care with current patients as well as serve the Evansville and surrounding communities.
Mary Magazine, Massage Therapist
A University of Evansville graduate, Mary Magazine is a
certified massage therapist, an ACE certified personal trainer and a certified Yoga and Pilates
instructor. Mary graduated from Body Works School of Massage. Her studies have included applied
kinesiology, hydrotherapy, energy theories, reflexology, myofascial release, craniosacral
therapy, pre-natal massage, sports massage, chair massage, yoga and meditation, massage for
people with cancer, spa treatments such as raindrop therapy and hot stone massage.
Mary is a Reiki Master. Mary is an advanced certified massage therapist in Ashiastu Oriental Bar
TherapyTM. Ashiastu therapy is a bare foot massage technique using deep compression effleurage
to glide over the body. Correct application will provide deep relaxation and stimulate the
lymphatic system of the body. Mary is a certified member of Associated Bodywork and Massage
Professionals. Maryís mission statement: To offer a sacred space TO BE IN TOUCH with the light

Barbara Brown, Marketing Director
Barbara (Barbie) Brown is a seasoned professional who has a broad range of marketing
experience including advertising, public relations, editing, promotions and special events. She
has an extensive background in relationship development and strategic planning. For more than
25 years, she has played an active role in many charitable and civic organizations, and
realizes the importance of community.
Barbie holds a bachelor of Arts from Indiana University,
and is responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships within the community.
Her responsibilities include health fair coordination, pain relief clinics at local sporting
events, ergonomic and injury prevention presentations, events and promotions as well as
marketing and public relations campaigns.
Darah works in our Medical Billing department is primarily responsible for accounts
receivable. She has worked in insurance for over ten years. She is a lifelong resident of
Henderson, KY. Darah and her husband and daughter she love the outdoors especially swimming and
boating or anything that involves the water.
Diane also works in our Medial Billing department, and is in charge of our accounts payable.
She has over 30 years experience in the medical field from billing to medical records to
clinical. Diane and her husband, Roger, have been married for 20 years and have one child and
three grandchildren, with whom she spends as much time with as possible! She too loves the
outdoors: hunting, camping and fishing.
Terri was born in Alexandria, VA and raised in Evansville, IN. She has worked in the medical
field for 27 years. I have one daughter who is attending IVY tech and will soon be going to
USI. She enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Janet was born in Evansville and graduated from Central High School and Ivy Tech majoring in
medical assisting. She has worked in the medical field for 30 years, with 15 of those years in
chiropractic. She worked for the late Dr Robert Winchell until his passing in 2010. She has 2
daughters and one grandson. Janet enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working on
her house and watching Notre Dame football.
Kim was born in Texas, grew up in Louisiana, and moved to Indiana at the age of 13 to begin
her life as a Hoosier. She now lives in Santa Claus, IN. She and Jeff have been married for 22
years and have four wonderful children. Kim joined the practice in 2007, running the Spencer
County Office and fills in at the Evansville and Princeton offices when needed. Prior to this
job, Kim was a substitute teacher, but mostly devoted her time and energy to raising their four
children. She enjoys volunteering and working with adults and teenagers at church and spending
time with friends and family.
Rachel was born and raised in the small northern Indiana town of LaFontaine, IN.
She has lived in Evansville for over five years.She came to Evansville to go to the University of Southern Indiana.
She started out at Active Chiropractic as an intern and joined our team later that year.
Rachel graduated with a degree in Health Services in December 2016.
Kelly Paddick works at our Princeton, IN location. She previously worked for Dr. Edwards for
28 years before he retired. She handles scheduling and insurance for the office to name a few.
Kelly and her husband Steve live in Lawrenceville, IL. She is an avid waterfowl, quail and
pheasant hunter and enjoys raising dogs, German Shorthaired Pointers, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers and Labs.
Anthony Thompkins, Massage Therapist
Anthony is the Massage Therapist at our Princeton, IN location.
He is originally from South Carolina and graduated from the South Carolina School for
the Blind. While there, Anthony completed vocational training in massage therapy, and went on
to attend the YMCA School of Swedish Massage in Spartanburg, SC. Ultimately, he attended
Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, TN and graduated with a Bachelorís degree in social
work. Anthony currently lives in Carmi, IL, and he enjoys sports, music, reading and spending
time at the farm in the country with his friends.
